Chase Petroleum Donates Boreholes to Two Villages (April 2010)

Chase Petroleum Ghana Limited has donated two boreholes worth Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 50, 000.00) to two villages in the Northern Region

Nakponzo & Tongo were each provided a borehole to help eradicate guinea worm and other water borne diseases which affect the people. These boreholes will also save the women and children in the Savelugu Nanton District the time and energy they waste travelling long distances in search of water.

This water project falls in line with Chase Petroleum's believe in service to our communities.

Chase Petroleum Donates To The Garrison Primary And Junior High School At Burma Camp On December 16, 2009
 

Chase Petroleum Ghana Limited has donated a thirty(30) seater capacity Ultra Modern ICT Learning Center to the Garrison Primary and Junior High School at Burma Camp at the cost of Fifty Thousand US Dollars (US $ 50, 000.00).

This is in line with the Company’s social responsibility policy of plowing back part of its profit to improve the plight of deprived communities in the country.

In his speech the CEO of the Company, Mr. Kwaku Bediako, reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting deprived communities. The focus he opined cut across education, health and water in particular.

The project is to assist all schools in the immediate environ as well as the military who would like to upgrade their computer skills.

The Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), Major General P. A Blay who commissioned the project was full of praise for Chase Petroleum and charged companies of similar stature to emulate the kind gesture from the company.

The "Water Is Life" Project
     

Chase Petroleum, with the believe in service to our communities, is embarking on communal projects to provide water to the most deprived communities in Ghana.

We construct and commission bore holes to supply communities with good and clean water for households. Some communities that have benefited from this initiative include Gaani, Kongo and Jato Akura.

These bore holes have drastically improved inhabitant's health by eradicating water borne diseases such as guinea worm, trachoma and hookworm infection.
